Dance

My passion for movement stems from my lifetime of dance. I started taking classes at age three. I danced competitively for six years, and taught at my local studio (Palmer School of Dance) for three of those. I attended The Fine Arts Center (Greenville, SC) for two years in High School, and graduated with a specialized diploma in dance in addition to my diploma from my home high school. My ambition to study dance on a higher level led me to New York City, where I attended The New School. Here, I earned my BA (with honors), and studied with alumni of distinguished companies such as Paul Taylor, Bill T. Jones, and Merce Cunningham
